SalesRight - Interactive Live Quotes Redesign

SalesRight provides interactive live quotes for SaaS sales teams to close deals faster with accompanying analytics on quotes performance.

I redesigned the quotes to be completely customizable and flexible to suit any of SalesRight’s customer’s needs.

The Problem

The original design had usability issues and the feature set was limited in terms of customization from customer to customer. Understanding all of the pricing options/settings and pricing details were confusing for customers. The content wasn’t making the best use of the space and the UI needed a facelift to feel like a high-end product.

We received lots of feedback and feature requests from customers and we used it to identify where we needed to expand SalesRight’s offering.

The new quotes had to account for many features: call to actions, discounts, add-ons, no limit on the number of tiers, a detailed list of all of the features included within a tier with descriptions for each if needed, and it had to work with any colour scheme. It had to look just as good with one tier as it did with multiple tiers.

Challenge accepted.

The Process

Working directly with the two founders, my first step was to understand the current product and SalesRight’s customers. I dug into their needs, pain points associated with the current solution, and how live quotes were sent pre-SalesRight.

I looked into how other SaaS companies handled their tiered pricing noting what they did well and where they could improve.

From there, I started to explore different ideas in Sketch.

I went through many iterations, feature explorations while getting feedback from the co-founders on what they liked and what they didn’t.

The Result

The new pricing guide is fully customizable for customers. They can apply their brand colours, choose exactly how their pricing tiers look and what content is included, add call to actions and discounts, and tons of options for additional tier add-ons. Seeing the main features included within a tier was redesigned to be in line with the tier to make the information quicker and easier to digest with the option to see all of the features with descriptions in a popup.

The redesign made the pricing guides look and feel more modern and exciting.

Making Development Easier

Because there were so many possibilities with the quotes, and the team wasn’t in a place to have a design system, I created style guides outlining all of the elements, guides for using customer’s brand colours, feature options and possibilities to keep everything in one place and make development easier.

Conclusion

Creating fully customizable and branded live quotes was a challenge but the co-founders, lead developer, and myself were all really happy with the outcome and were excited to implement the new design.
